Cassidy was humbled to have been named a finalist in the Community Service Award Category of 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards NSW & ACT. Congratulations again to all the nominees and winners. It was wonderful hearing all the amazing things young people are doing and achieving, my goodness the future sure is in good hands.

Here question was "What does Community Spirit mean to you?"

Community is more than a group of people living in the same area. Community is a group of people we lean on when times are tough and who are there for us when we need love and support. A strong community knows all its members and values each for what they can offer. Community is a group of people who create a system of support where all members feel welcome and included. 

In every Community there is work to be done and in every heart there is the power to do it.

And whilst we gather here on country, the presence and spirit of the rainbow serpent is still felt in our landscapes, connecting all of us as one.
