If HHH has touched you, your family, someone you know, or you simply believe our doors should remain open, we'd love you to be part of the next chapter.

Fifteen years ago, Hawkesbury's Helping Hands began with a couple of home-cooked meals carried to a local park and a simple desire to help.

We could never have imagined where that small beginning would lead.

Today, our work reaches across food relief and emergency hampers, community meals, homelessness support, The Hive, outreach and practical assistance, access to showers, laundry and technology, and disaster preparation, response and recovery.

Your $15 helps keep our doors open, our vehicles on the road, our fridges and freezers running, food on our shelves, our services available and our organisation ready to respond when our community needs us.

Now is the perfect time to get involved!

With a significant rise in demand and the ongoing expansion of our services, Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands is in urgent need of more volunteers.

There are so many ways you can get involved:

• Helping on the ground with stock and supporting our Homeless Hub

• Helping with our Hamper Day

• Cooking one or more components for our Meal Service

• Assisting with meal service at our Sunday Community Meal

Even just 4 hours a month can make a real difference.

We’re registered with Centrelink which means you may be able to complete part or all of your mutual obligation hours with us.

We’re also a recognized Work and Development Order (WDO) Sponsor, so if you have a fine to work off, we can help.

Are you a student? We also welcome those completing Duke of Edinburgh, TAFE, or university course placements.

No matter your background, skills, or availability — we would love to have you join our volunteer family.

Alongside our founders, Linda and Cassidy, our volunteers are the heart of what we do.

Without them, we simply couldn’t provide the services our community relies on.
